Just as beautiful as you are
Its so pitiful what you are.

City of Titania, Idonia never really appreciated the city for anything more than a few big buildings and an easy target when she needed spare change or a nice bed to sleep in, or some to sleep with, it was always a lot easier to find the more ‘eager’ men and women n bigger cities. In small villages most were married and completely faithful. Tonight Idonia had travelled the dirt path to this city for reasons she didn’t even understand as of yet but certainly would by morning, she was sure of it. Idonia wouldn’t come to a place that clung so closely to a grudge that she could never forgive, it seemed absurd that after sixty years she still felt the same hatred for her father as she did when her mother told of her his sin.
Idonia scoffed at the mere thought of it, she hated it so much that she tried to focus on something more happy, or sad - anything. She had been waling through alleyways upon alleyways, there was far to many in this city that all it needed to do now was send a formal invitation for criminals to come on over, but Idonia had to admit that would make one hell of a party, if anyone knew how to party it would be the criminals ad vagrants of the land. They had no worries or stresses hanging over their shoulder and knew how to appreciate the odd ale. They were far more carefree and thought less of what people perceived them as because everyone instantly see’s them in a bad limelight.
Managing to blend in with the human crowds, her point elf ears were completely masked by her long light hair and dark hood that shadowed half her face. Idonia was wearing a pair of black cotton pants with leather boots sewn together delicately, they were tied firmly together by string. A male’s black shirt Idonia had managed to steal through her journeys and a light crimson corset that clichéd her waist in tightly, yet this was all covered by the draped over black cloak that took every curve of her body and made it shapeless.
The cobbled stones of the alleyway were both rigid and uncomfortable against the thinning material on her boots, she’d have to earn enough coins to buy some more, never would Idonia think about robbing a dead man’s shoes superstitious but aside from that alittle creepy too. There were few shady character apart from herself in the alleyways during the light of day, the sun was only just beginning to set so Idonia had plenty of time for a quick pickpocket before the competition appeared.
There was a small opening towards the light of the main streets of Titania, the stools and markets were beginning to pack up their goods and many families were returning home and soldiers to their night posts, on the opposite side of the street was yet again another alleyway. A perfect set up. Idonia looked around for the perfect victim, there was a male about late forties, he didn’t look wealthy neither did he possess the look of a man in poverty, he would be the ideal candidate.
Idonia walked forward into the light, her footsteps rushed, as if appearing to be rushing for an appointment, just in time to ‘accidentally’ barge into male, her delicate and swift movements of her hands fell into the small pouch connected to the tan leather belt that was strung too loosely to be effective. A few coins fell inbetween her fingers, holding them firmly as her hand reached out, unknowingly the male’s head turned towards her.
“Terribly sorry!” Idonia’s voice held an fake apologetic tone that would have fooled many, she had worked every angle of the human emotion perfectly to know what they would believe and what they wouldn’t, plus being a woman was an advantage. Proceeding forward towards the other never-ending and very eerie alleyway, the coins rattled in her palms with each gleeful step she stood which all finished with a gentle spin on her heel
“I am eating tonight!” Idonia exclaimed as she watched her victim walk out of sight, completely oblivious. For awhile now she shall wait in the alleyway till nightfall, just he does realise and alerts the guards, that would be a hassle she would prefer to avoid- for now.
