NAME,
DAGNY DUN GUÐLAUG is the name used to call her forth by the higher powers that be. her parents choose dagny, meaning new day, as she was their first child. dun was an effort to bestow the wishes of immortality on her life. the family name of gudlaug meant god women, as they boasted having a strong clan of females who were favored by the gods in the beginning of time.
AGE,
once upon a time, dagny was a mere human girl who had to worry about her mortality. however upon her death she became an IMMORTAL, forever frozen to appear as a young girl of EIGHTEEN. though the stories of spirits disappearing in rough fights frighten her greatly, as she is less than skilled in the ways of battle.
GENDER,
she looks and feels completely FEMALE.
ORIENTATION,
while a human dagny had always fancied boys, though she never had the opportunity to find her 'soul mate'. now, as a spirit, she has had feelings for both genders, making her BISEXUAL.
RACE,
dagny is one UNDEAD GEIST of many who populate the world. involuntarily she has been recruited as the QUEEN"S EYES to keep watch in endelphia, alert for any living souls. she isn't particularly fond of being a ghost, finding it exhausting and repetitive.
ALLIANCE,
over the years she has forgotten which land she originally called home. now she is tied to ENDELPHIA and the queen of death ODETTE. while she isn't very fond of the depressing land it is the only place where dagny can feel normal. so despite her visits beyond the land of the dead it is where she will always return and serve.

+POSITIVE,
dagny is an EXCITABLE girl, quick to feel strongly without much thought. part of this characteristic is due to her unfailing EMPATHY. especially when someone appears down on their luck she will feel responsible for looking after them, even if they strongly object. loneliness haunts her in the land of the dead so that she makes every attempt to be PERSONABLE so that she will not be forced to forever wander on her own. even when someone does her wrong, dagny has a hard time holding a grudge. FORGIVING and forgetting is the correct path that may earn her a better life in the end. of course these beliefs can be hard to stick to, and her own sense of justice has found paths to twist around direct 'meanness'. a natural amount of INGENUITY has been nurtured to entertain herself while ensuring she isn't bothered again.
-NEGATIVE,
living in a war-torn land is an unfortunate thing for such a COWARDLY person. if a fight starts brewing you can guarantee dagny won't be sticking around to see who wins. however she has an insatiable CURIOSITY that is not easily deterred, even with threats of violence. with a knack for prying and no sense of personal space makes her socially AWKWARD. dagny is relatively UNAWARE of this problem, among others, and makes no effort to act better. when feeling particularly excited dagny becomes FIDGETY and cannot wait to jump from one thing to the next. her senses and scruples are RELIANT on others, as she often feeds off their energy and watches their decisions for possible answers. because of the young age she met her end dagny is unable to get much past the mentality of a teenager.

• she wonders what it would be like for her soul to disappear, what waits beyond the land of the dead. stories of those undead who were 'killed' fascinate dagny to no end and she dreams of what it would be like not to exist. • despite being a geist dagny is actually freaked out by other undead. when in endelphia she has to work very hard not to grimace and is terrified what would happen if any of them caught on to her fear.
INVENTORY,
• the only thing dagny owns is a small metal hammer that she uses for the occasional random task. she stole it from a blacksmith and it hung from her waist so nicely she took it without hesitation. if the time comes she may be forced to use it as a weapon.
SLEIGHTS,
• HARDENED HALF with a minimal amount of effort dagny can shift between a solid figure and one of translucency, with full transparency proving to be beyond her limits for the time being. this sleight is employed when she wishes to reveal herself to be a walking spirit. the translucent effect, her true form, makes her partially see-through with a sheen that reflects light when directly hit. at night the effect is weaker as dagny emits a slight amount of light involuntarily that disappears when she reverts back to her physical form. the true form is also much softer, so that attacks are absorbed into her. it is easy for her to be broken or torn to shreds if she is not careful, as it takes time for damage to fix itself.
• DEVASTATED DIAMOND when dagny becomes scared stiff her body gains an increased durability. with intense concentration she can focus this magical shift that makes her as strong as a diamond into one part of her body, such as her arms, in order to defend herself. this slows her movements down considerably and is rather painful to endure. the ability only lasts as long as she feels endangered or until it is broken by too many attacks, at which point the piece of her shatters and dagny is forced to put the pieces back together.
• FRAYED COVER dagny can form small shards of diamond on her fingertips that are capable of tearing 'holes' into the space around her (though aren't able to affect anything else). by pulling them apart, slipping in, and resealing it she becomes invisible to the eye outside. she looses her being when in this state, so that dagny becomes a misty entity outside of the physical tangibility. while she can stay in this other side forever, it puts a serious drain on her energy as there is no light or life to keep a spirit going. it is still possible for her to see the normal world as if it is beyond a screen. though traveling is made much easier, for by picturing a place she is standing by it. by ripping a new hole she is able to reenter the material world. no other beings can be brought in with her, unless they wish to be sent to endelphia.
